Thank you for this beautiful and reflective story. It is amazing how sometimes the Lord brings us to places of stillness, not chaos, so that we can see His presence more clearly. David’s words come to mind The Lord is my shepherd He leads me beside the still waters and restores my soul Psalm 23:2-3, places of peace, calm, and rest where God meets us just as we are. When life feels overwhelming with deadlines, noise, pressure, or uncertainty, God invites us to be still and know that He is God Psalm 46:10. In the quiet, we begin to hear His voice, feel His peace, and trust Him more deeply. Just like the woman in the story, we often discover that our greatest strength comes not from striving or understanding every detail, but from surrendering and trusting the Shepherd who never abandons His sheep Jesus Himself promised, Peace I leave with you My peace I give to you John 14:27, not as the world gives, but as the Shepherd who cares for us in every circumstance. May we learn to cherish those moments of stillness, they are not empty but filled with Holy Presence. May we find rest for our souls, courage for our paths, and a deeper communion with the One who leads us gently beside still waters every day.
